- Work identified – title or clear description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- Location of the material – a URL or other detail that lets us locate the allegedly infringing content.
- Contact details – name, postal address, phone number, and email address.
- Good-faith statement – that the disputed use is unauthorised by the rights-holder, agent, or law.
- Accuracy statement – confirming, under penalty of perjury, that the information is correct and that you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.
2. How to File a Counter-Notice
Think we removed your content in error? Send a counter-notice containing:
- Your signature – physical or electronic, plus your full legal name.
- Identification of the removed content – and where it appeared before takedown.
- Good-faith statement – under penalty of perjury, that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
- Contact details – name, address, phone, email, and a declaration that you accept service of legal process from the original complainant.
3. What Happens Next
- We may forward your counter-notice to the complainant.
- Unless they file a court action, we may reinstate the content 10–14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.
- Submitting false notices or counter-notices can expose you to legal liability.
4. Important Reminders
- A counter-notice can trigger legal proceedings between you and the complainant.
- Games may remove content without prior notice and will disable repeat infringers’ accounts when appropriate.
